Thanks Rachael for noticing that BladeTape saves you time and money! - June 2010
I have been using BladeTape for about 4 months now and I love it! I really like how long it lasts on my stick. I used to be a fastidious taper and I could easily spend 20-30 minutes taping and waxing a stick to perfection before a game. I spend a little while with the BladeTape too, cutting it to fit just the way I like it. But since I only have to do it every month or two instead of every game, it saves me several hours per week! Thanks BladeTape! -Rachael @ Katzeyeoptics.com
BladeTape boosts your confidence for those tough passes! - November 2009
I'm sure you hear this a lot, but the BladeTape makes an incredible difference when taking passes. I can't count the number of passes I've gotten that would normally be very difficult, but since starting to use BladeTape have become routine. It's amazing what it does to your confidence when you can take those tough passes without having to fumble at all.
That's what I am telling everyone I play with, and it seems like they are starting to believe as well. Some of the most skeptical guys on my team are now sold on the benefits of BladeTape.

Mom saves her nails... that's important too! - November 2009
I am a mom with 3 sons that play hockey, and I HATE taping sticks. Your product is amazing. Not only does it look good I haven't broke a nail since I started using it on their sticks. Great Job!! -Elaine Ellis
Born Again Goalie Loves his New BladeTape... - October 2009
Hey guys, I just started playing goal again (in pick up hockey) after 15 years. I tend to use my stick quite a bit and Goalie Tape is one of the best products I've seen in a long time. Six weeks of pucks bouncing off of it in and not a tear on it. You are absolutely right that there is no need to tape the underside of "today's sticks" anymore. An excellent product. Thanks. - Kevin van Steendelaar, www.yathehabsrule.com or www.twitter.com/yathehabsrule
Czech Goalie says...BladeTape je Nejlepší
Bladetape je Nejlepší (Bladetape is best)
Blade tape has had a very positive impact on my game. I love how predictable the rebounds are when I make a stick save and how there's less shock when pucks hit my blade. The grip the Bladetape has on the puck is the perfect balance of sticky and smooth. I can stickhandle and shoot the puck much better now. With tape and wax, the feel would change as the game went on. Cloth tape and wax was either too sticky, or not sticky enough. With Bladetape it is always the same--perfect. I was also impressed with how little "snow" built up on my blade.

I really like bladetape because its easy. I don't have to fuss around with tape all the time. Plus, my other teamates are jealous that my bladetape has the Sharks logo. GO SAN JOSE!

BladeTape is a great vibration dampener.... - January 2009
I love BladeTape because I'm a big feller, with a nasty case of tendinitis/carpal tunnel. Whether playing on ice or some ball hockey, slapshots hurt like heck with normal tape.... with BladeTape, I get better grip and feel while stickhandling and shooting (which I'm not great at, so every little bit helps) and I can shoot almost as hard as I want because all the gnarly vibration is gone. If only they(Blade Pro) made a proper product for the butt end end of the stick, I'd shoot more! Super durable, not a headache to remove (like normal tape sometimes), better grip and feel, but the vibration dampening is the big thing for me.

Justin: We are working on that new griptape product now. We've been game testing something for a while and are almost ready! A few bugs left to sort out before we decide to mass produce it.
BladeTape is fantastic! - January 2009
Bladetape is fantastic! It lasts so much longer then regular tape even with wax. I have a ton more puck control that lasts longer into the game without getting snow-logged. I'll never go back to regular tape!

BladeTape down under now too! - January 2009
Being an older player from Australia (nearly 50 and yes we do play Ice Hockey here) you hear and see lots of new and exciting hockey products all claiming to be the very best in their field. So with a fair bit of cynicism I bought some Blade Tape. To my surprise they were very good. Did i suddenly turn into a Datsyuk, unfortunately no. What I did get was a great product that kept its promise. It helped my puck control, was very easy to use and extremely resilient to damage. Its not bad on price as well. The sign of a good product is how long it hangs around after the 'trend' is gone. I believe that Blade Tape is hear to stay. Blade Tape will stay because in my mind this is a product that delivers on what it says. You can't ask for more than that.

We're a Hit in Jolly 'Ole England....
Greetings BLADETAPE folks from London England! I'm a Canadian living here and every Tuesday night I play hockey with a great group of Canadians, a few Americans & Europeans! I recently introduced BLADETAPE to a bunch of the guys and they all absolutely love it! The ice here is extremely soft so a lot of snow builds up on the rink in a very short period of time, so anyone who is using conventional hockey tape has to change it every time they play.....pain in the butt! We've all played with our BLADETAPE about 12 times and it continues to hold up beautifully!!!! Thanks kindly BLADETAPE, your product is one of the best inventions to come to the game of hockey in years!! - Will Flatt, Ex. Pat and Hockey( Habs) Nut
BladeTape offers better accuracy for shots and passes..
I use Blade Tape already and love it because I play roller hockey and traditional tape tends to stick to the flooring. With Blade Tape I get the same accuracy or better with my shots and passes with Blade Tape. If you haven't tried it already and you play roller hockey you should. It's fantastic.

Won't buy traditional hockey tape again!!.... - July 2008
I doubt I will ever buy hockey tape again. Tried BladeTape for the first time last night, and LOVED it. Felt just as good as regular tape, minus all the snow buildup and of course without any tape fraying at the end of the game. In our summer league, the ice is understandably a little softer, so the ice snows up a lot more, and it eats away at the tape. Now that I have BladeTape, that's no longer a concern!

Firefighter could have been Pro! Scores at will....
Used BLADETAPE for the first time last year in a tournement that was partly sponsored by BLADETAPE...I'll never go back to the old cloth tape..it seemed I scored at will, had amazing puck control...loved it. If I had BLADETAPE when I played back in the '70s I'm sure I would have played pro...well..BLADETAPE and TALENT!

Update from Afghanistan..on our "Care Package" - June 2008
Richard Just to let you know things are going well with Blade Tape in Afghanistan. We play ball hockey sometimes twice a week and Blade Tape holds up excellently in the heat and there haven't been any problems with it at all playing on the cement floor. Everyone likes it and I for one will continue to use it when I get back to playing ice hockey. Some Ex-NHLers were over awhile back as you might have seen, and a couple of them asked me about it and I filled them in about it but there were one or two others that knew about it already. Thank you, Eric Strong.

Athletes love their Logo'd BladeTapes.....
We have been consistent users of BladeTape at the Paris District High School Hockey Canada Skills Academy. When it first arrived the young athletes - grades 9 - 11 - loved it. Then came the logo version. We had our Academy logo emblazened on the toe of the tape and the athletes loved it. We ordered fifty logoed BladeTapes and they were scooped up within the first day of their arrival. The athletes loved the ownership and pride a logo'd blade tape brought to them and their program! Not only did we get the same great feel of the BladeTape but now it just looks awesome! - Pete Crosby, PDHS HC Skills Academy
We get some "fan mail" too.....they like the ease and money saved!
I am writing this letter to tell you that I am very happy using BladeTape and that it has made it easier and faster for me to play hockey. My brothers and I all use BladeTape on our hockey sticks to improve our game. I am thanking you for making such a cool invention that made it easier for me and saving a lot of time. Yours truly, Ryland Mowrey, Burnaby BC
Dear Nick:
Thanks for giving us a great product and I really like the response I get when using it. It has cut the cost of old fashion tape down to nothing. I get so much more life from Bladetape over conventional tape.

Likes those 8 Point Weekends.....
We first learned about Blade Tape at the Let's Play Hockey Expo in St. Paul, MN on Friday March 7th, 2008. Looked pretty neat so my son Jospeh wanted to give it a try. After an 8 point weekend in St. Cloud, MN including a hat trick in the third game I'm pretty sure we'll buy more to have on hand.

Sweden can do the "Sid the Kid" move with BladeTape..
Thanks( Richard), I have now received the BladeTapes.
The setup was very easy and we have now tried the tape on ice-practice on the outside rink. I usually have have the right circumstances to make a good zorro move on the ice - the move you have on your commercial video.
Doing Trick Before - with old (cloth hockey)tape:
- Needed a very new tape - with a lot of stickyness
- Have to warm it in my hand for a while for a better grip
- The grip lasts for minutes and then I need to warm the blade in my hand again
- When the tape gets cold, wet and icy it does not matter how sticky it gets.
- Had to place the back on the back of the heal of the club - harder to make the move when skating - easier standing still
- I´d say I managed 5 of 10 times successfully
- I hade problem with the backhand zorro move - bad grip
Doing Trick After - with blade tape:
- Rubber = grip but not sticky
- Did not have to warm it in my hand
- The grips lasts
- I´d say I manage 10 of 10 times successfully
- I can do the move while skating
- I also managed the backhand zorro move
- I can now perform the move the puck more forward on the blade - this was key while skating and performing the move
- After an hour normal ice-practise - the blade started to get colder and wet and some snow and I noticed I had to focus more of the placement of the blade for making a succesful move - I just wiped it easy of with an instant glove move and got the grip back.
The feedback from players, coaches, parents I showed it to:
- Wow - that was easy
- You can do that as well .. noo I cant .. yes you can ...I can show you .... A couple of efforts later ... Yes they did it !
- Where did you get it
- I am going to get that
- How can i get it
- Would be cool with a logo
- Smart
I am very supprised it worked so well.
I will order more BladeTapes but I need to find the .eps format of my logo.
Ps. You should have seen their transition from suspicous to happy faces "before and after" when they see they can perform such move themself.

Even Mom can tape with BladeTape..
I'm with The Glenlake Minor hockey association...and we're hosting our 10th annual Stew Fairbanks Tournament for Novice Players. This tournament is run in Calgary Alberta in mid March....."A few of the mom’s on the organizing committee sons that have been using the BladeTape on their sticks. I am one of them. I am constantly asked what is on the stick and where do they get it. Prior to using this blade tape I was forced to try and tape the stick before the game because dad did not have a chance. This is a skill I could not master. So thank you for such a great product"
Janis Heal-Hockey Mom, Alberta
BT-Yes Janis we can help sponsor your tournament. We'll be in touch with details.
Loves his Goalie BladeTape..
I do honestly have to say that the tape really improved my standup game! It is so much easier to rifle the puck off my stick against the boards and most importantly, the rebounds off the stick. It felt like the puck sticks to the tape after a shot!. Awesome! I am really impressed on the goalie tape and I will highly recommend this to the leagues here locally and on my website..... Keep up the great work and Rich, you can use me as your guinea pig for anymore tapes to try! Dave Tomassetti www.mississaugashinnyhockey.com

BladeTape headed to Afghanistan..
I received Blade Tape for Christmas and have used it everyday at shinny hockey for the past two weeks and I must say it has lived up to its billing. It's excellent and has performed as advertised and it's still intact. No one had seen it before but since then a few others have recently purchased Blade Tape and they like it also. I have some Blade Tape packed so that I can use it when I get a chance to play ball hockey in Afghanistan. I'll let you know how it holds up.

Defenceman that handles the puck, loves BladeTape..
Jan 13, 2008 I purchased my first Blade Tape for my stick from Done Right Sports in Calgary, I am and was so impressed with the grip I could get on the puck. I have always been a Defenceman who handles the puck and uses alot of puck control, in my first 2 games since I started using Blade Tape I have noticed a big difference in my ability handle the puck even better. Also I was so impressed I bought some for my 17 year old son and received the same positive response from him. We are sold on your product, Thank you and keep up the great products. Yours truly, George Edwards Calgary Alberta Canada
Finally got his GoalieTape...
Received my goalie tape order and tried it out for the first time last week(Jan. 12/08) and over the weekend. Absolutely great product! Stick feels noticeably lighter and not so end heavy as it was using conventional tape. Was able to steer away low shots as well if not better than previous. I'm not very good at handling the puck with a goalie stick to begin with, but I did notice that I can get a lot more power and height on my shots/passes as well as control the puck much better than before. I would definitely recommend this product and will purchase again.

Faster, Softer Hands...
January 3rd, 2008 Got it for xmas, love it... great control and improved accuracy... The puck is almost glued to your stick...
Lifting the puck is almost effort less and one less thing to think of when you're charging the net... My back hand was also improved, to lift the puck off the ice it took next to nothing...
For the bottom of the stick, I haven't seen anything yet, but it has been only 2nd weeks. In the locker room, someone said, on the Canadiens, one of the players tapes his stick and then cuts the tape off with a razor, to give them the contact and friction with the ice. But I felt my stick handling was improved and I didn't need the tape on the bottom and felt the lack of friction was a good thing... faster and softer hands...
It gives me an advantage and every little bit helps..

I dont need to worry about ice and snow....
I was given a BladeTape package to try out before the season started. I heard a teammate talk about it, and was eager to try it out. I am very pleased with the results. I'm saving have to re-tape my stick every couple games as I did before. I really like the sticky grip I get from Blade-Tape as well. I used to put wax on the tape, for help with the traction of the puck, but the blade-tape works much better. I also like how I don't need to worry about the ice/snow collecting on my blade anymore!

Wants our Products in more CT Stores...
I just wanted to let you know that I have been using your product now for the past 8 months, on wood blades. My most recent tape has lasted approximately 20 games. And is still very useable! I find I have much greater puck control, and there is no "wet cloth tape" on the blade to damage the wood blade between games. I am also using Bladetape on a ball hockey stick, and find it is an excellent solution, as cloth tape simply isn't possible on concrete or wood floors. I would hope that you are able to get it into a few more Canadian Tire stores, to make purchasing a little easier, as I am conveniently located near one CT store - that doesn't carry it! Wayne M. More About our New GoalieTape....
I tested Goalie BladeTape all through the spring and summer. Initially, I was skeptical about what protection BladeTape would provide for goalie sticks. However the product proved to be no gimmick. My sticks held up better and for longer. And most importantly for me, performance was better - real sweet, actually. BladeTape gives a crisp, clean feel when clearing or handling the puck. There is never any snow build up and the heel does not breakdown and get spongy. Anyone need seven or eight rolls of hockey tape or a chunk of stick wax?

He fired over 500 shots... over 2 day period...
...applied bladetape to my comp the night before working a two day(12 hour total ice time)Team Alberta goalie skills camp, fired around 500 shots (mostly slaps)over that two day period and your product looked new after that pounding,I am amazed at how it held up and am SOLD on BladeTape I will never use regular hockey tape again. Since that camp I have played six mens league games, I play defence and my sticks always take a beating, the BladeTape has held up...usually I have to retape after every game, but not now. Also puck control is greatly improved both passing and receiving, no more rebound effect common with comp sticks. Way to go on the best new product in years, now only one question when do we get BladeTape for goalies? All the best....

His backhand was exploding off of the back of his blade...
Just wanted to let you know my just turned 11yr old son tried the blade strips(BladeTape) on his Intermediate Synergy Elite-in a couple of AAA Summer Hockey games this past weekend in the Lightening Tournament-he loved it-he never read the literature-I just told him I was trying something new and to give it a try-he said in the car ride home he was handling "flutter" passes easier as the puck sat down for him right away and he said he noticed in warmup shooting on the goalie that his backhand was exploding off of the back of his blade-he liked it and asked me to use it on his spare stick as well.
I long ago thought that composite sticks did not need tape on the botom of their blades and that it created unnecessary drag-and why would you need to use was on a composite stick to begin with-kudos to you guys for bringing such a great low maintenance product to market-that even the traditionalists will in my opinion embrace.
Thanks to the Southdale Pro Shop guys for taking the time to explain the blade strip product-and applying it to my sons new composite Synergy stick-just before his game?
Where can I get some grip tape for the glove section of the shaft!

Shooting was great and passing was like wood...
The feedback has been awesome! I even tried it myself today at a tryout I was doing for a friend of mine and I have to say I loved it! Shooting was great and passing was like wood. However, saucer passing was a little suspect but I will give that more of a try tomorrow. You folks have a can't miss product here! The High Performance athletes will love it! Scott, so you know, the free tapes you gave me I have distributed them so far to 3 university female players, 1 pee wee major triple A player, 2 female Bantam A players, 2 atom A female players, 2 High end coaches...all to get feedback and so far it has been great! The disstribution here will be a snap!

I've had the BladeTape on it for 8 or 9 games now...
I'm part of the BladeTape wood blade test group and I'm amazed at how well my traditional wood stick is holding up. I've had the BladeTape on it for 8 or 9 games now and not only is the BladeTape still in great shape, the wood blade itself is still in excellent condition. I think that's because regular tape gets wet and traps moisture against the wood. This softens the blade and it starts to deteriorate, especially at the heel. I see nothing like that happening with the stick I'm using this season because BladeTape doesn't absorb the water. I also want to add my comments to those of others about how much easier it is to handle the puck and to shoot, especially to put it 'upstairs'. Great product.
Greg Poole, Vancouver, BC
This stuff is awesome.
This stuff is awesome. 16 games played with a composite stick and the BladeTape was still in great shape. Who knows how many more games I could have gotten out of it, if the stick hadn't broke. So I quickly grabbed another pair and slapped them on the new stick. New stick, new BladeTape, Its a beautiful thing! This stuff has great feel for the puck. Grabs incoming passes, great control while stickhanding and maybe its just my imagination but the perfect little spot under the crossbar seems a hell of a lot easier to find. I'll never tape again. Its BladeTape every time.

far superior solution than traditional tape
I have just started trying the BladeTape and I find it to be a far superior solution than traditional tape. I am surprised this has not been released sooner? The feel is great, it is more durable than tape, reduces friction and ice build up on the blade. When shown to a group of 13 year olds and explained briefly they were "all over" the BladeTape. I highly recommend this product to anyone who uses a hockey stick. It may also be a good solution for Ball Hockey players as well, given that there is no tape to rub on the playing surface.

my boys play roller hockey...
I was given a sample of the BladeTape for myself and my two sons. My sons and myself have used it for the past two weeks and will not go back to stick tape again. Since I put the BladeTape onto my youngest sons stick he has been doing the "michigan" with no problems. With the BladeTape it is easier to recieve passes without the puck bouncing of your stick, it is like it has absorption to the Tape. ps-I forgot to put into my testimonail that myself and my boys play roller hockey and that the Blade Tape works as well on the floor as well as on the ice!
Travis-Hockey Dad, Langley, BC
I love the control...
I've used BladeTape for the passed 2-3 weeks and so far I love it. I love the control the BladeTape allows. I also like the fact that the blade tape is thick, so it sort of absorbs the pass and makes it feel like a wooden stick. Before I started using BladeTape I was taping my stick before every game and now I dont need to, its a big relief knowing that I dont need to spend time taping my stick before a game. One exceptional benifit is that the BladeTape doesn't ice up or go soggy like normal tape, therefore keeping the stick always feeling fresh.

Put a puck just under the crossbar...
What a GREAT product!!! I am both a user and a pusher of Bladetape. My Pee Wee team was the first team to use it in Clarington house league play and it gave us a definate advantage over other teams, I coached kids who in most cases could'nt raise the puck but with my great coaching techniques, (ok with BladeTape's help) I have seen things change. The down side is... that it has become popular in our league now . When I see a player from the other team put a puck just under the crossbar the first thing I check for is what does he/she have on their blade? In most cases its BladeTape, damn progress and sales. I also use it on my goal stick and play 3 times a week, I really like playing the puck as much as possible and it has only helped my efforts by allowing me to feel the puck on the blade better. It lasted 20 games and looked like new before the stick finally broke on a failed poke check. I felt like Roy Hobbs in The Natural when he broke his bat. Oh well, good news is I unlike Roy and his bat, I know where to get Blade Tape and set up my new stick and I am looking forward to another 20 game run, minimum. Keep the product coming.
Bill O'Brien CRHL Hockey Coach, Pee Wee, Oshawa, Ontario
It really works
BladeTape........ AWESOME PRODUCT !!! It really works. After 3 hour using it is like brand new. Excellent puck feel and touch, blade moves faster, stick balance is better because tape is light. Let me know when you are back in office, I will call you. Keep in touch !

I found removing the fabric tape a real chore...
I bought my son a new stick and had to put fabric tape on for one game and then I heard about BladeTape. Having never played ice hockey before, I found removing the fabric tape a real chore. Once removed, I installed the blade tape in no time at all. My son absolutely loves the product and my days of fabric tape are history.
